Antique 9ct GOLD LOCKET - Chester 1914 on 20" Chain - 6g

This is a stunning and rare find, an antique Gold locket with Chester Hallmarks.
This locket is an oval shape with a lovely engraved design on the back and the front.
The front incorporates a small shield which has a small monogram that looks to read the initials HB but it is difficult to be sure. It has such wonderful detail!
The locket opens and shuts securely and inside there is an old photo which I have left in place for the new owner to decide. It has full hallmarks for Chester on the back which is rare as they closed the assay office in the 1960s.
The hallmarks date this to circa 1914 with makers initials possibly MJD.
It comes suspended on a 20" 9ct gold chain which is also marked 375 on the clasp for 9ct gold. Please check the photos for more details.
