✯ True Antique Lovers Knot Snake Design ✯
This is a beautiful and unusual Victorian brooch. It is a good size serpent design which was commonly regarded as a lovers infinity knot or forget me not in the Victorian era and given as gifts to loved ones.
This one has a pearl in the centre (assumed to be faux) and a C Clasp and tests as 9ct gold in some areas so I suspect it is rolled gold and I cannot see any obvious hallmarks. It is a wonderful serpentine design and in wonderful condition considering its age.
