This is a stunning and rare find, a vintage Georg Jensen 9ct Gold locket and chain.
Since 1904, when his first workshop opened in Copenhagen, Georg Jensen has been creating timeless Scandinavian designs that exude elegance with a unique combination of craftsmanship, functionality and artistic aesthetics.
This locket is a really good size and weight. It is an oval shape with wonderful scroll engraving. It has a plain back with the exception of the makers mark - This says 'GJ Ld' along with full hallmarks for 9ct gold with London assay marks for 1969.
The locket opens up and shuts securely and inside there are the original inserts and protective covers.
It comes suspended on a 20" 9ct gold chain. Please note this is a vintage piece so please check the photos for more description.
