This is a beautiful gold ring with a very large smoky quartz gemstone.
The smoky quartz is sometimes referred to as a Cairngorm quartz as a certain type is found in Scotland and used in much of their jewellery, especially during the Victorian era. The stone is in lovely condition and is set within six gold claws, and it has wonderfully ornate shoulders.
It is lovely condition and is marked for 9ct gold including the makers initials WN and 9ct.
The ring is a fantastic weight at approximately 7.2g and the size is approximately UK size L which is equivalent to US size 5.75, please refer to the photo of the ring on the ring sizer for more specific details, thanks.
