This is a stunning vintage 9ct gold ring. 
The ring has a large oval cabochon Moss agate gemstone. 
The naturally occurring gemstone is approximately 16mm x 11mm and has a beautiful  9ct gold twisted edge setting. 
This particular moss agate stone has a dark green moss strands with splashes of deep blood orange colouring. 
I am a little obsessed with Moss agate, it is one of my favourite gemstones. I find myself mesmerised by them. I am so please to have found this beauty as it is rare to find old gold rings with Moss agate gemstones.
This ring and has full hallmarks, including a crown and 375 (for 9ct gold) and London assay marks for circa 1965.
The ring is a great weight at approximately 5g and is approximately UK size M (equivalent to a US size 6), but please have a look at the photo of the ring on the ring sizer for more accurate measurements, thanks. 
This really is a rare and fantastic piece of jewellery with history!
