This is a lovely antique brooch with the word 'Mother' on the front.
The main part of the brooch is mother of pearl in a bar shape, and the lettering for 'Mother' tests for silver but could be plated.
The back part of the brooch and the pin seems to be brass or another base metal and has some discolouration.
But overall this is a wonderful piece and the mother of pearl is in great condition but it is an antique piece so please check the photos for yourself, thanks.
