✯ Unusual Fly Design ✯
This is a stunning and unusual antique brooch probably of the Victorian or Georgian period as it has a C Clasp and a longer pin to indicate early Victorian or before.
It has a main central purple amethyst coloured stone which is surrounded by clear paste stones. On the top of the purple amethyst sits a fly with lovely detailing and a smokey looking stone on his head.
The metal is a nice gold colour but is likely to be pinchbeck or the like. It is in wonderful condition considering its age, please have a good look at the photos.
