 This is a stunning Art Deco ring. This classic style ring holds a wonderful fire opal look stone which is surrounded by paste stones.
The stones are mounted in sterling silver with the back of the shank being solid 9ct gold. Although the fire opal is very pretty and vibrant with colour I cannot be sure exactly what it is made from. This ring is marked with 9ct (for 9ct gold) and Sil (for sterling silver). I believe this dates to circa the 1930s.
The ring is approximately UK size O (equivalent to a US size 7), but please have a look at the photo of the ring on the ring sizer for more accurate measurements, thanks.
This really is a fantastic piece of jewellery with history.
