This is a lovely vintage locket by the famous silversmith Georg Jensen. Since 1904, when his first workshop opened in Copenhagen, Georg Jensen has been creating timeless Scandinavian designs that exude elegance with a unique combination of craftsmanship, functionality and artistic aesthetics.
The locket is an oval shape with a wonderful geometric ray design on the front. It is marked on the back for sterling silver including 'Silver' and GJ Ltd'.
Inside there are the original inserts and it comes suspended on a more modern 18" silver chain. Please see photos for more details, thanks.
