This is a stunning and unusual vintage gold ring.
The ring is has a vibrant colourful front plate with a butterfly. It is gold tone which looks gold plated as there is some wear in places, specifically around the back of the shank.
It has a winder on the side and has a secret compartment that when opened reveals a watch face.
This is a vintage hand winding watch and the winder works and the watch is ticking away nicely, I have checked it for several hours and it seems to be keeping time well too.
The watch-face has 'Swissam 17 Jewels Swiss Made' and has two small hands. There are no other obvious markers marks on the watch, not that I can see. This is such a wonderful decorative and functional piece and I have not seen another one like it. I'm assuming it is from around the 1950s but I could be wrong. The front of the watch opens and closes nicely and the hinge is solid.
The size is currently at a UK size P but the shank is adjustable to fit most sizes.
