This is a vintage silver locket.
It is dainty small puffy circular shape with a delicate and pretty scroll pattern on the front and the back.
Inside there are the original inserts and it opens and shuts securely. It is marked for sterling silver on inner rim and comes suspended on amore modern 16" sterling silver chain.
