This is a pretty traditional Celtic Claddagh ring. The ring is a detailed Claddagh design, showing two hands holding a crowned heart and is adorned with small diamonds in the centre. While Claddagh rings are sometimes given as friendship rings, they are also commonly used as engagement and wedding rings. In addition mothers sometimes give these rings to their daughters.
It is fully Hallmarked for 9ct gold including the makers initials that look to read IBB, and 375 (for 9ct gold) and DIA for diamonds.  The ring is approximately UK size M (equivalent to US size 6), but please have a look at the photo of the ring on the ring sizer for more accurate measurements, thanks.
