This is a stunning true vintage Georg Jensen 9ct Gold locket and chain. Since 1904, when his first workshop opened in Copenhagen, Georg Jensen has been creating timeless Scandinavian designs that exude elegance with a unique combination of craftsmanship, functionality and artistic aesthetics.
This locket is a pretty oval shape with three flowers engraved on the front. It has full hallmarks for 9ct gold on the back including the makers initials GJ Ld (for Georg Jensen) and a crown with 375 (for 9ct gold) with assay marks for London for circa 1979.
The locket opens and shuts securely and inside there are the original inserts.
It comes suspended on a more modern 16" 9ct gold chain which is stamped 375 on the clasp. Please check the photos for more details.
