This is a wonderful Double Sided St Christopher charm/pendant by Georg Jensen.
Since 1904, when his first workshop opened in Copenhagen, Georg Jensen has been creating timeless Scandinavian designs that exude elegance with a unique combination of craftsmanship, functionality and artistic aesthetics.
This St Christopher pendant is not only 9ct gold but the more unusual oval shape and doubled sided. On one side there is St Christopher, the patron Saint of travellers and on the other side is a car with a plane above it and on the bottom it is hallmarked.
There are full hallmarks for 9ct gold including the makers initials GJLd and 375 for 9ct gold with assay marks for London circa 1966.
It comes with a delicate micro belcher 9ct gold chain approximately 20" long.
