This is a beautiful vintage 9ct gold ring. The ring has a stunning vibrant orange cabochon Moss agate gemstone. The naturally occurring gemstone has a beautiful 9ct setting with a double decorative shoulder design.
This particular moss agate stone has a milky blood orange colouring with a gentle touch of dark moss green veins. I am a little obsessed with Moss agate, it is one of my favourite gemstones. I find myself mesmerised by them.
I am so please to have found this beauty as it is rare to find old gold rings with Moss agate gemstones. This ring and has full hallmarks, including the makers initials S&Co with Birmingham assay marks for circa 1978.
The ring is a great weight at approximately 3.2g and is approximately UK size P (equivalent to a US size 7.5), but please have a look at the photo of the ring on the ring sizer for more accurate measurements, thanks.
This really is a rare and fantastic piece of jewellery with history!
