This is a classic and unusual locket.
It is a large circular shape that looks like it may once have been a compact or pill / snuff box.
It has a simple classic design and open from the front.
Inside there is a large deep space on one side to store a keepsake and it has full hallmarks for sterling silver circa 1917 with the makers initials ALLD for Adie and Lovekin Ltd.
It comes suspended on a more modern sterling silver chain measuring 22"
