✯ Hallmarked 9ct Gold ✯
This is a wonderful open photo locket pendant.
It is double sided with glass covering to both sides.
Under the glass there is burgundy velvet inserts that can be removed/replaced. Both sides can easily be replaced by unscrewing the bale at the top and carefully replacing. The gold casing is highly decorative and is 9ct gold with full hallmarks for Chester including the makers initials WNC and 9.375 (for 9ct gold) circa 1904.
There are also marks for 9ct gold on the bale.
The glass feels slightly loose but does not fall out of the casing.
This comes suspended on a more modern 9ct gold chain measuring approximately 18". These pieces are becoming rarer and especially in good condition.
