This is a beautiful antique Gold Belcher chain necklace.
It is marked on the second link with a gold tab marked 9ct (for 9ct gold).
This type of marking is typically early Victorian or Georgian. There is an old style barrel clasp which is working well and has a subtle rose gold tint.
It is a lovely chain and a these antique gold chains are becoming very rare to find. It is approximately 20" long, the longer lengths being more desirable, and a decent weight at approximately 6.8g.
The links are approx 2mm x 2.mm.
