Antique 9ct ROSE GOLD LOCKET - Chester Hallmarks 1910 on 20" Chain - 4.2g

This is a stunning and rare find, an antique Gold locket with Chester Hallmarks. Chester marks are rare as they closed the assay office in the early 1960s.

This locket is a pretty scalloped oval shape with a beautiful scroll border design to both the front and the back. One side has an empty section and the other side has a monogram which is difficult to make out - perhaps EAB or EAL.
 There are full hallmarks for 9ct gold with Chester assay marks including a date letter for circa 1910.
It opens and closes nice and securely and inside there are deep green velvet inserts.  
It comes suspended on a nice long delicate 20"  9ct gold chain which is also hallmarked for 9ct gold. 
The locket has a rose gold tint colouring and the chain is more yellow gold, so please check the photos for more details. This really is very beautiful and would make a lovely keepsake!
