This is a stunning and rare Kilt Pin / Brooch by Robert Allison.
I have owned several brooches by Robert Allison but never seen one like this. It has pretty engraving either side of a vibrant amethyst stone.
It is fully hallmarked on the back with the makers initials RA for Robert Allison and assay marks for Glasgow circa 1947.
