Antique Rolled Gold LOCKET NECKLACE - Black Enamel Buckle on 18" Chain - 10.3g

This is a wonderful antique locket pendant and chain. The locket is an oval shape with a beautiful ornate raised buckle design on the front and an intricate floral design engraved on the back.
The buckle design is black enamel and there is some wear if you look closely. Inside there are deep red velvet inserts and it opens and closes securely.
There are no obvious makers markings which is not unusual for Victorian pieces of jewellery but it has been carefully tested for 9ct gold on the front and back. (Rolled gold) It comes suspended on a more modern 18" gold plated chain. Other chains available under the chains section.
Please take a look at the photos for more details as there is some wear to the enamel if you look closely but a lovely locket and in good condition for its age. Thanks.
