This is a wonderful old silver brooch. It is a wide design of a lovers knot or infinity knot. These were often given to loved ones as a token of affection or remembrance as a forget me not.
On the back there is a c clasp fastening and it is fully hallmarked for sterling silver with Chester Hallmarks circa 1905 and the makers initials RJW for Richard John Wakefield. This is a wonderful find and quite an unusual brooch in very good condition. Please check photos for more details, thanks.
