This is a beautiful Victorian brooch with an embossed floral bouquet design.
Although it is often difficult to distinguish between black materials used in Victorian jewellery, I believe this to be a vulcanite mourning brooch.
This brooch is approximately mid Victorian era and in good condition for its age with just some slight nibbling to the edges but overall in good condition.
