This is a stunning 9ct Gold bracelet with a rose gold colouring.
It is an antique bracelet with a vintage replacement heart padlock clasp.
The bracelet is a heavy sturdy piece with the links being approximately 12mm in length and every other link is hallmarked with 9c for 9ct gold ( a typical Victorian marking).
There is a safety chain attached and a padlock clasp which is fully hallmarked however, I do not think the the padlock is original to the bracelet but has been professionally replaced at some point in its history - a very good job too. I say this due to the hallmarks on the links in the bracelet being a different and older hallmark to the one on the padlock.
The heart lock is fully hallmarked with the makers initials ASJ, a crown and 375 (for 9ct gold) a leopard and a date letter circa 1990s.
The bracelet is also hallmarked on every other loop with 9c. It comes with a 9ct gold disc attached as a charm with the initials SD, however, this could easily be removed.
It measures approximately 17cm and weighs a heavy approximate 20.1g. The padlock is a little tricky to open but secures safely.
