This is a beautiful vintage Georg Jensen 9ct Gold locket and chain. Since 1904, when his first workshop opened in Copenhagen, Georg Jensen has been creating timeless Scandinavian designs that exude elegance with a unique combination of craftsmanship, functionality and artistic aesthetics.
This locket is a circular shape with a pretty five flower pattern on the front in a circle.
It is fully hallmarked for 9ct gold including Georg Jensens initials, GJ Ld and 375 (for 9ct gold) as well as a leopards head and a date letter which I cannot quite make out.
The locket opens and closes shut securely and inside there are the original inserts and protective covers. It comes suspended on a 20" 9ct gold chain. The chain is more of a yellow gold and the locket has a rose tint to it.
