✯ SILVER with MOSS AGATE ✯
This is a rare and stunning Brooch by Thomas Ebbutt.
It is a spectacular example of moss agate set in sterling silver. The gemstone is a rare dendritic agate which is the most desirable of agate and they are quite beautiful stones, all superbly unique.
The silver surround is a pretty Celtic weave design and the moss agate gemstone is vibrant and wonderful. Considering it dates to circa 1967 it is in wonderful condition.
It is fully hallmarked on the reverse with T.E (for Thomas Ebbutt) and the hallmarks including a thistle, castle and the date letter M dating to 1967.
It is also stamped Scotland.
