This is a gorgeous old locket pendant. It is a soft rose gold colour which looks to be a gilt or pinchbeck metal. It has a wonderful engraving on both sides, each side with a different design.
Inside there are deep red velvet inserts and it comes suspended on a more modern 16" gold plated chain necklace.
There are no obvious makers marks or hallmarks that I could see. Please have a look at the photos for more details, thanks.
