This is a stunning and rare find, a vintage Gold locket with Chester Hallmarks.
This locket is a pretty oval shape with a wonderful Art Deco design to the front .
The back is plain with two sets of hallmarks for 9ct gold.
One set is clear and readable which include the makers initials WJP and 9.375 for 9ct gold with Chester asssay marks circa 1955. Inside there are the original insert and protective cover to one side and it comes suspended on an 18" 9ct gold chain which is also hallmarked for 9ct gold. Please check the photos for more details.
This really is very beautiful and would make a lovely keepsake!
